Giving back to the community through volunteer work and community involvement is something that Dr. Mussat feels very strongly about. She is currently a board member at the Face the Future Foundation, a non-profit organization which supports the Cranio-Facial center at UIC, and is also involved in a variety of other community outreach programs including working as a mentor at Sisters4Science, which offers young female students exposure to STEM careers.
Dr Mussat participates as a judge at the annual Science Fair at CPS (Chicago Public Schools) and enjoys mentoring high school students who wish to pursue an education in healthcare.
Do you wish to become a doctor? Please call our office at (312) 751-9000 and set-up a consultation with Dr Mussat. She will be happy to refer you as a volunteer at The Saint Joseph Hospital and The Face the Future Foundation. Dr. Mussat can also facilitate a Clerkship at The University of Illinois, where you will be able to observe different teams of surgeons at work.
