I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Mussat. She is very professional but also a warm, comforting person that clearly cares about her patients. After my surgery, I was in a lot of pain and Dr. Mussat instructed the nurses at the hospital to give me morphine, which meant they had to keep me overnight. Dr. Mussat visited me once more that day and the next morning before I was discharged. I fully expected to pay for my private room at the hospital, but learned at my last check-up that it was complimentary thanks to Dr. Mussat. I was floored by this. Dr. Mussat also gave me a gift bag with massagers to use after my surgery. I was unsure about plastic surgery and was very scared, but Dr. Mussat made me feel comfortable and I am so glad I went through with it. I am only 4 weeks post surgery but I am already happy with my results. Loidy at the front desk is also very sweet and I NEVER have to wait when I go in for a checkup. I would 100% recommend Dr. Mussat to friends and family!

Dr. Mussat was the only doctor I could find confident enough to reconstruct my breasts with implants after having a child and capsular contracture from another doctor's surgery. Almost 9 years later they still look and feel natural! I would do it all over again if I had too!

Three cheers for Dr. Mussat!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Mussat for a few years. Originally for botox. Now, for peels, fillers and yes, botox. Upon my first visit, I was very nervous...not wanting to look "frozen" or "fake". She talked me through the procedure and before I knew it...no more wrinkles...yet, I could still make expressions!! She is awesome!! After having precancerous tissue removed from my face by my dermatologist...I discussed having a peel with Dr. Mussat. She explained once again about the procedure...I'm on my second peel....my sun damaged skin"spots" are flaking away. It is a great relief knowing this procedure will greatly reduce any chance of further precancerous tissue removals. I was worried I would look like a "fire" victim...with huge patches peeling from my face.....not the case! It looks like dry skin...which I discuss openly with friends and strangers. I also worried I wouldn't be able to work with the public in fear of "scaring" my guests. Nobody has noticed, till I bring up the peel. Funny, many have asked the same questions I had about botox, fillers and peels. I'm glad I'm able to correct their misconceptions of botox , fillers and peels. Though, I save all technical questions for trained professionals!!

If you are thinking of any procedures....give Dr. Mussat a call!! Her assistant, Loidy, is super nice and very accomodating.

Consultation:
I don't usually don't like to write reviews but I was looking for a plastic surgeon who would see me for a condition I was so ashamed to talk about with friends and alway avoided going to the beach and thought I had to live with for the rest of my life. I am in physical health overall and not having this particular procedure wouldn't be life threatening but it felt like it :( I'm happy to have found Dr. Mussat, she is a very kind Dr. and the moment I walked in I was greeted by her staff. I did not have have too much of a wait and was a bit nervous about talking to yet another Doctor. When Dr. Mussat came into the room and began going through my history she reassured me that it was a very common procedure and gave me information about it. She did not seemed rushed, and I felt like she was very genuine. She gave me and information packet and a quote for an exact break down of the fee's. She also had financing through a company that I already had an account with.

Follow up visit:
After I went home and after a couple of weeks I decided to go through with the procedure. I called and scheduled to come a second time. Dr. Mussat reviewed all the information and I had written down some questions she answered without rushing. She gave me forms to fill out and took photos bu she assured me that they wouldn't be used for any other purpose other than to document my progress. I walked out of there very excited!

The day of Surgery:
Dr. Mussat called me the night before and asked if I had any questions. The hospital staff was nice and I wasn't nervous, I felt calm ( I was allowed to take antianxiaty medication the night before)

TODAY!!!
I'm happy to say that now more than ever I want the summer and this cold weather to go away to go to the beach, heck I'll go now lol ! I am no longer ashamed to say that I had male breast or the clinical term "gynecomastia". I have little tiny scars in the armpits that I can live with and the rest is history. My recovery wasn't bad, I cannot believe I waited this long. I hope I can help anyone who thinks this is something they have to live with.

I would highly recommend anyone who is going through something like this to visit Dr. Mussat.

I had been to 5 very well respected plastic surgeons in Chicago to remove my breast implants and to restructure my breast-I would be going from 34DD to 32B.

The other surgeons quoted prices at about $10,000.00 and estimated that I would need to be under for 4-5 hours-a dangerous situation for someone of my sex, age and race.

Dr. Mussat suggested a different approach, remove the implants, allow my breasts to heal and then do any needed revision within the next 9 months or so.

I followed her advice and I am very happy with the results. The surgery cost was 1/3 of the others; I spent 75 minutes under instead of 5 hours, and due to the manner in which Dr. Mussat made the incisions to remove the implants, the breasts have a beautiful lift and are very perky-my husband loves them.

In addition, Dr. Mussat gave me the level of personal attention that only celebrities receive she came to my home four days in a row to check on me after the surgery. She is the best kept secret in Chicago.

Dr Mussat is really professional. She only suggests the treatments that enhance your qualities. You will not leave her office with "over-filled" lines or being over-botoxed.
She is frank and candid in what she thinks will be best for you individually.
I see her regularly for facial fillers and feel that the work she does on my face enhances my face and allows me to age gracefully.

I am a 47 yr old working mother who has been going to Dr. Mussat for years for botox and filler injections. She has a wonderful artistic eye and amazing skill that results in a very natural, refreshed look. She keeps up with the latest plastic surgery trends and products and has tailored them to my desired effect! She's the best. I have referred several friends to her, and they love her work as well! Nothing better than a french female plastic surgeon who gets it!

I believe everyone has their own opinion and I would like to share my personal experience with this Doctor. Dr. Florence Mussat did my breast and aside from me being happy with my new beautiful breasts so is my husband! After three kids my once plumpy breast deflated and I went in search for new ones...I would highly recommend this doctor because she suggested a size that would complement me. I wanted to go big but she suggested that the size would be too big and not give me natural results, I'm glad I listened to her because they truly look so natural. I referred my best friend to her and she also loves her new boobs. I'm getting a little fat sucked out soon since I'm recovering from hibernation.
